Re: Payet
No, we owe him nothing at all. The bloke played well, but that's as far as it goes.

Re: Payet
Sorry we made you a household name?

We owe him NOTHING. About the equivalent to the amount of loyalty and gratitude he showed us.

The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and Payet burned so very very brightly.

It was only ever going to be brief, yes the blokes a cunt but I still have the memories.

Re: Payet
A truly amazing player with incredible ability and it was an absolute joy to watch him in the claret and blue, doing what he did, week in week out.

It's pretty much gone tits up for us and him since he left. Who knows what might have happened had he stayed with us and continued the form he showed during his debut season. Players like that don't come around that often. Especially at a club like ours.

Supremely talented. Great season for us. Massive cunt.

Consigned to history now though.

Sven

Be more sorry, he's from an overseas French territory.

That means even though he's thousands of miles away he's still fucking French, now that must be awful.

Re: Payet
What did you do to him?

Are you the reason he fucked off?

If so, you owe the rest of us an apology too...

No he wanted out and got his move.

Re: Payet
The guy asked to leave the club before we had even played in the new stadium which is why we gave him a 1 million pound "loyalty payment" to stay.
As soon as he played well in the Euros for France he became too big for us.

Regardless of how we feel about the board, the stadium or anything else you can't just refuse to play for a club that pays your big wages and a fan base that idolised you.

For that reason my answer is no and he can fuck off.
